Peter Marcus Gets Sarah Brown’s Vote
We found ourselves in the thick of the Election hype yesterday (Thursday 15 April 2010) when our very own Marcus Shamim was called in to style none other than Sarah Brown’s hair; wife of Prime Minister, Gordon!
All the party leaders were in town for the first live leaders’ debate at Granada studios (you couldn’t step out of the salon door without falling over a journalist or photographer!) and there was definitely a buzz in the air in anticipation of the historic event.
We were soon thrust into the excitement when Marcus was called to the Radisson hotel to style the first lady of UK politics. She had a busy day of campaigning ahead of her and wanted to look her best to meet the people of Manchester. We were delighted to be called in and hope she chooses us again on her next visit to the city.
